Las Vegas-Optical dispensing is a vital, dynamic, and growing facet of ophthalmology. For new ways to expand your profit potential through dispensing, explore the new Dispensing Pavilion, a live, interactive experience making its debut during the 2006 annual meeting of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Nov. 11 to14 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Presented by Ophthalmology Times and the American Association of Dispensing Ophthalmologists (AADO), the Dispensing Pavilion is an innovative way for professionals to maximize the economic possibilities offered by dispensing.

The Dispensing Pavilion is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of ophthalmologists who either are currently dispensing or may be considering opening dispensaries. Located on the exhibit floor, the 309 × 509 pavilion will showcase products and services offered by industry leaders, such as Tura L.P. and Compulink Business Systems Inc. Additionally, sponsor representatives and AADO faculty will deliver exclusive seminars and curricula in the pavilion's forum.

"AADO and Ophthalmology Times are committed to using all of our resources to make this a huge success," said Vincent K. Young, MD, AADO president.

"Nothing like the Ophthalmology Times/AADO Dispensing Pavilion has ever been done before," said Lauri B. Jorgensen, publisher of Ophthalmology Times. "Creating this landmark educational opportunity together demonstrates our commitment to the industry and strengthens our positions as leaders in the industry we both serve."

The Ophthalmology Times/AADO Dispensing Pavilion has received endorsement from the AAO, the Vision Council of America, and the National Academy of Opticianry.
