Bausch & Lomb listed as one of the Diversity Elite 2007

Rochester, NY-Hispanic Business gave Bausch & Lomb the honor of appearing on the Diversity Elite 2007 list.

Rochester, NY-Hispanic Business gave Bausch & Lomb the honor of appearing on the magazine's Diversity Elite 2007 list. The list recognizes the best companies for Hispanic employees to work. The rankings were determined using 30 variables including hiring, promotion, marketing and diversity goals.

Bausch & Lomb also received an honorable mention in Latina Style's annual ranking of companies that provide the best career opportunities for Latinas. The honor was based on criteria such as the number of Latina executives, mentoring programs, educational opportunities, alternative work policies, dependent/child care support, employee benefits, women's issues and affinity groups.

Clayton Osbourne, vice president, human resources, concluded that these honors validate Bausch & Lomb's belief that a diverse workforce is good for business.
