Toric IOL appears to be safe for treating moderate to high astigmatism

Sint-Truiden, Belgium-Implantation of the toric Artisan IOL (Ophtec BV, Groningen, the Netherlands) is a safe technique for use in patients with moderate and high levels of astigmatism, according to Camille Budo, MD, an ophthalmologist in Sint-Truiden, Belgium.
