Fort Lauderdale is the setting for EyeCon 2024, which is running from September 27 to 28, 2024. The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel is the picturesque backdrop for the convention on Florida’s storied Gold Coast.

The conference, sponsored by Ophthalmology Times and Optometry Times, brings together leaders from both disciplines to share their expertise.

Peter J. McDonnell, MD, from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine; Tosin U. Smith, MD, from Glaucoma Associates of Texas; Kelly K. Nichols, OD, PhD, MPH, from The University of Alabama at Birmingham; and A. Paul Chous, OD, MA, FAAO, from Chous Eye Care Associates, Tacoma, WA, put together what should prove to be a dynamic learning experience.

The sessions have been designed for both MDs and ODs and focus on the following broad topics: co-management conversations, understanding trial data, care plans development, and incorporating early and accurate diagnosis.
